What a DAY! We got rained on, thunder clapped and then the sun beat on us … but we perservered and so did you! In fact a record number of you, 456 to be exact, came out to join us on Saturday. And we are grateful for it! So a big THANK YOU to the athletes. As well, a huge THANK YOU to our gutsy volunteers who braved the wet and then the heat.

It was a great day! Even with the rain! I love, love, love this event. One suggestion is to have at least hand sanitizer outside the washrooms, if water is not available to wash hands.

Congrats to Sherri and the entire team of volunteers! It was an amazing event and I will return next year!!! This time… I will be doing the swimming portion!
It was a superb event despite of all the challenges that Mother Nature send to us! You kept it safe and fun! Bravo!
