Triathlon & Duathlon Categories
NEW FOR 2010! We’ve add a new Kids of Steel 5 & Under category. Keeping the littliest competitors ready and willing to go. This category will allow a parent or an adult to assist the child through the entire race. So mom, dad, aunts and cousins suit up because you might be getting wet!
The following categories apply to the Olympic Distance Triathlon, International Duathlon and both the Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon races:

The Try-A-Triathlon does not offer a relay option. The above age categories are applicable to the try-a-triathlon as well.
Kids of Steel
For all age groups and Kids of Steel events, eligibility is determined by age on December 31 in the year of the competition.

6 to 7
8 to 9
10 to 11
12 to 13
14 to 15
