Plans for the 2011 St. Joseph Island Triathlon are in full swing. We are busy planning a new t-shirt design, booking microchip timers, working with the Township of St. Joseph to ensure the grounds and routes are in the best shape possible, reaching out to local businesses to let them know when you are coming, and building partnerships with our sponsors and supporters.
This year we will be giving the Jocelyn Township Recreation Committee a few free entries to give out at the Mountain Maple Run. Come join us there for a 5km or 10km run through the maple woods and apple orchards – sounds yummy! For more information on this great race click here.

Dust off your bikes, get the wetsuit out of the closet, and get back on the treadmill…registration for the 2011 St. Joseph Island Triathlon is now open! Get your registration in before July 1st and receive the lowest price an all adult races. Race prices go up $10 on July 2nd, and another $10 on race day, so register early!

Get your gears turning, your running shoes ready, and your swim caps on . . . the 2011 St. Joseph Island Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2011.
We will offer triathlon, duathlon, kids of steel events, and relay options once again.

What a DAY! We got rained on, thunder clapped and then the sun beat on us … but we perservered and so did you! In fact a record number of you, 456 to be exact, came out to join us on Saturday. And we are grateful for it! So a big THANK YOU to the athletes. As well, a huge THANK YOU to our gutsy volunteers who braved the wet and then the heat.
